Having served for the past four years on Lancashire County Council representing Fylde West, John Singleton has been selected once again to stand as the Conservative candidate for the election on 1st May 2025. A resident of Staining for 23 years, he is well-acquainted with Fylde politics and its priorities. With 21 years of experience on Staining Parish Council and 16 years on Fylde Council representing Staining and Weeton, John has played a key role in ensuring Cuadrilla's departure from the Preston New Road site.
John says, “I am determined to continue fighting for Fylde West by securing an alternative route for the Morgan and Morecambe Windfarm and tackling the key issues that matter most to local residents.”
