I have lived in our amazing town for many years and in that time I have worked within the local hospitality sector including managing a local hotel health club and bars. My actual background and qualifications are in Media and Filmmaking where for various clients I have produced adverts, documentaries and training videos including ones about mental health awareness.
Last year I graduated as a qualified teacher, so I now also pursue another passion of teaching Filmmaking locally as well as teaching Media and Screen Acting at a nearby college.
As a professional Filmmaker I have made my own films which have been shot in and around St Annes over the years with some having the good fortune to win awards at Festivals around the world including Los Angeles last November.
When I have travelled to these festivals I always without fail spread the word about what a amazing town I’m from and the wonderful community we have here which is so supporting of one another and thriving with creative energy.
The opportunity to be in a position, to be working towards improving our town and helping our community is a challenge I would love to take on and make our wonderful town even better.
