Tim is Lytham born and bred, married to Sarah and together have three children. He has been a Fylde Borough Councillor for over 20 years and a Lancashire County Councillor for over 6 years.

He attended St Peters Primary School, Lytham and Preston Catholic College. He then went on to complete an engineering cadetship in the Merchant Navy and studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds. His hobbies include walking and cycling.

During his time as a Councillor, he has successfully introduced cycling to Lytham Promenade; is a founder Member of Lytham community Association which purchased the Guardian Sports Centre on Mythop Road and ensured it is always available for use by the public; assisted the Lytham in Bloom Team achieve 'Gold' status in the North West in Bloom competition and also Gold status in the Britain in Bloom competition; spear headed the imminent refurbishment of Lytham Railway Station; and has been closely involved in the Park View 4U Project.
