Chris Dixon - Ansdell Ward

I’m extremely grateful to have been selected to stand in Ansdell ward again, after winning the by-election following the sad death of David Eaves last year. Since the election I’ve been working with my fellow ward councillors and county councillor and have held surgeries at our wonderful library. We’ve also spent time on a survey of the streets of Ansdell and have reported several issues with kerbs, paving, parking, speeding and potholes. I want to continue that work, and to work with all of the volunteer groups which make Ansdell such a fantastic place to live.

The dedication and work with the Youth Council led me to be elected as Chairman where I remained for two years. I enjoy working in the community and am a member of the St Annes Carnival Committee where I have held different roles including Assistant Parade Marshall and more recently Health and Safety Coordinator.
