Since 2017 I have represented Warton & Westby ward on Fylde Borough Council and it has been a privilege to serve the residents and be their eyes and ears in the local community.

I first stood as a Borough Councillor in a 2010 by-election and won the seat from an Independent candidate. I am pleased to say that I have been able to increase my majority at every election since.
I have lived in the Fylde constituency for over 35 years, being a resident of Ansdell and more recently in St Annes. My wife and I have raised our family
I worked on the old Premium Bonds site for HP (previously EDS) providing support for DWP computer systems ensuring benefits such as state pensions were provided accurately and on time.
I work as a Chartered Accountant for a respected local practise, and in doing so I provide professional support to many Fylde businesses and enjoy helping them to grow. At a political level, I always strive to be effective performer at the Council and take residents views on board.
I have had the privilege of representing Heyhouses for nearly 12 years.
I have served on the Council during my time as Vice Chairman of the Environment Health and Housing Committee and represent Fylde on the Health and Wellbeing Board at County Hall.
Cllr. Michael Withers has lived in St.Annes and Ansdell since 1963, attending St. Thomas Primary and King Edward Vll Grammar schools in the borough. He now lives in Park Ward with his wife Rosie, they have three grown-up boys and three grandchildren.
Michelle moved to the Fylde coast in 2017 shortly before marrying her husband Alistair. Michelle was elected to Fylde Council in 2019 to represent Fairhaven Ward bringing with her nearly 20 years of political experience having been an elected member on Bury Council from 2003-2016.
